Shark!
I can't believe that yesterday we got to play a game called shark! First we went to the PE shed to get some hula hoops. Then some of the students positioned all of the hoops down on the ground. This is how we play the game: first everyone are fish, so they run all around the area. After that Mr. Healy announced in a loud voice ''shark!'', everybody had to get into a hoop but only two people could get in each hoop. Then Mr. Healy shouted ''clear!'' That means that everyone can run around again but each time it's a clear Mr. Healy takes a hoop which makes it harder. The goal of the game is to try to get into the hoop as fast as you can. In the end of the game guess who won... me! And a student in my class called Madison. We had the most spectacular time!

Pop Goes The Weasel!
BANG,OUCH!!! I just thought I thought I saw something furry but something weird is I actually fell of my chair! I am familiar that it was a rat but why would it get inside my tote tray, like I didn't leave any....oh great I left my cheese which I had for morning tea in my tote tray and that could have or should have given the rat a scent and that's how the rat got in my tote tray! Anyways I know that rats are intelligent but this rat might have been a little way too intelligent to just shoot out out of my tote tray. (now I'm really getting angry-ish) I should have told the teacher but she went to swimming lessons, oh no shes coming inside and the rat is a hundred present inside here I should get this rat outside before Mrs.Govender notices the rat. Good it jumped out the window and it came back and jumped out and etc. Next, I tried getting the rat out with my hands my self but it was more likely to try to bite me, then Mrs.Govender started starring at me ''what are you doing'' asked Mrs.Goender. I'm caught I said to my self in a tiny voice. Then I spoke up and said There was a rat in my tote tray, eventually Mrs.Govender finally got the rat out. Whew!

I Think This Holiday Was So Good That I Just Can't Do My School Work!
Yipeeeeee! Today is the best day ever! Today I am so happy since I get to stay with my aunt. I wanted to do a truckload of things with her, the exciting thing was she had a surprise for me but, first she had to go to Labtests (a place where people get their blood tested and some other things to do with blood) to get her blood checked, my mum and dad had gone to work leaving no car for my aunt to drive so, we walked all the way to the bus stop which was a few meters away. When we got there my aunt told me the number of the bus we were going to take and when I knew that we started waiting until... FINALLY! A bus pulled up nearby to the bus stop but, guess what it was a double Decker bus! well like everyone does (not like everyone does) I love to go in a Double Decker bus only if I get to go on the top. When we got to Labtests, my aunt placed down the form and sat down and we started to wait and wait and... guess what we started to wait some more and more and more until the staff finally called out my aunt's name. When we got to the room, although the needle was not going into my skin I still felt scared so I shut my eyes tightly and looked away. After that was done, we went away and my aunt told me the number of the next bus we were going to take, well we had a lot of time so we went to a shop called Postie. My aunt said we will stay there for five minutes so I actually counted five minutes and then, I realized how long five minutes actually is! Then we walked to the bus stop and waited again, this time it was not a Double Decker so felt a little upset, wait no! I was not upset, not a little bit. anyways we went to Sylvia Park and this time was my time. I got to go to a few shops there Smiggle is one of my favorite shops but, my most favorite thing is... I got to go bungy jumping! When I got on the trampoline, the staff buckled up all the straps and I started jumping, then I tried doing a front flip several times but all of those times it did not work. Then after a while, the staff came along and held one of the straps (so I do not go up) and told me that the back flip is more easier and... so it did!

Unusual Sports
An unusual sport is a competitive physical activity, most of them aren't so popular but some of them are. They are called unusual because they have quite weird items to do, weird rules, and weird aims to win.
Archery
Archery is a sport where you use a bow and arrow. This can be done indoors and outdoors, indoors, arrows can be shot as far as 18-25 meters but, outside it can be shot as far as 30-90 meters wide. The rules of the game is: there are points from 1-10, ten is in the middle of the the target board and one is in the the outer circle of the target board the rest of the number are going down the circles towards ten. Each person gets three or six arrows for each turn when the persons done they pick their arrows of the board and a new round begins. When the entire game is done the competitors add up all of their scores and the player with the highest score wins.
Curling
Curling is normally played in the cold snowy times where there is a big platform of thick ice, or, it could be played at a huge stadium where there is ice all ready for them. The game is played with a piece of granite stone which is sanded on the sides so it is smooth and, there is a handle at the top of it for grasp hence it is so smooth. How to play: There is two teams of four players. Each team has eight granite stones. The aim of the game is to slide the granite stone to the house or by getting the other teams granite stone out of the other house. Each player gets two times to shoot the granite stone to their house, the players who shoot the stones are called curlers. There are players which sweep up the ice and push it away so there is a faster game and so the granite can move move on the ice smoothly, thees players are called sweepers.

Should Year 3 Children Be Allowed To Write with Pens?
I think that year three children should be allowed to write with pens because this prevents you from rubbing out, this actually wastes a little bit of your time that you could have written a few words.
Secondly, it is because you don't have to sharpen it. For instance, if you keep on sharpening your pencil, it will become shorter and shorter which will make it harder to write with plus, it could brake if you sharpen it too much.
Thirdly, is because when you write with a pencil, you would mostly rub out words, But, when you rub out that word it would rub out a little bit of the words around it and so that will make you waste your time filling those gaps.
My fourth reason is that when you write with a blunt pencil, the words you write might not be clear enough for you to see properly but, if you write with a pen, as I said you won't need to sharpen it, no matter what, it will still be clear for you to see.
These are all of my reasons to answer the question: should year three children be able to write with a pen?

An Adventure With Some Creepy Creatures!
WOW! These creatures look very freaky!
In the holidays, I went to my friend's house for a playdate.
After a few minutes of playing, we finally got ready to go to the place that I really wanted to go with Om... REPTILE PARK!
At Reptile Park there was a lot of creepy creatures: lizards, geckos iguanas, skinks, turtles, a frog and a tarantula. Oh, and a two enormous alligators! We both were running around in a lot of excitement, looking at all of the types of animal species.
Since Reptile Park was not in Auckland, it was a long way home and we got quite dizzy but, Om's mum thought that we were crazy!
When we came back to Om's house, we ate lunch and played with Axl, (Om's dog) who was a little jumpy. Then, we played on the trampoline. Soon, my mum came home but she said that we could still play for a little while. So, I watched Om play on his Nintendo 3DS.
Soon, I said bye to Om and went back home, happy that I went to my friend's house.
I had a spectacular time going to Reptile Park with Om!
